# Boom Pilot vs High Octane!

The clearest difference is rating: Boom Pilot at 4.5 against High Octane!'s 4.0. Boom Pilot also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boom Pilot sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and High Octane! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boom Pilot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boom Pilot has 1.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 44% and 44% positive.

Boom Pilot ships an update every 2 months, High Octane! every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
