# NuWave Connect vs DVR Link

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DVR Link at 67% against NuWave Connect's 13%. DVR Link also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.3). NuWave Connect's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (607 vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NuWave Connect has 607 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of NuWave Connect's written reviews are positive against 67% of DVR Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NuWave Connect ships an update every 3 months, DVR Link weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
