# NuWave Connect vs HINT Control

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HINT Control at 66% against NuWave Connect's 13%. HINT Control also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). NuWave Connect's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (607 vs 111). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NuWave Connect has 607 ratings behind it against 111, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of NuWave Connect's written reviews are positive against 66% of HINT Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NuWave Connect ships an update every 3 months, HINT Control every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
