# GZI TV vs Edp Watch

The clearest difference is monetization model: GZI TV at free with in-app purchases against Edp Watch's subscription. GZI TV also leads on ratings volume (826 vs 97). Edp Watch's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GZI TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Edp Watch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GZI TV against 4.9 for Edp Watch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GZI TV has 826 ratings behind it against 97, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 99% and 100% positive.

GZI TV ships an update every 3 months, Edp Watch every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
