# Minimal | Notes vs Backlog Studio

The clearest difference is monetization model: Backlog Studio at free with in-app purchases against Minimal | Notes's subscription. Backlog Studio also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Minimal | Notes's advantage is ratings volume (294 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Both are free to download. Minimal | Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Backlog Studio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
