# Mountaineer vs CrewCapsule

The clearest difference is update cadence: CrewCapsule at every 2 days against Mountaineer's every 13 months. CrewCapsule also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Mountaineer's advantage is ratings volume (118 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
