# The Arts Channel vs WATCHVIM

The clearest difference is update cadence: WATCHVIM at every 2 months against The Arts Channel's every 5 months. WATCHVIM also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Arts Channel sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $64.99 per year and WATCHVIM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
