# Luv vs EmberNote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EmberNote at 100% against Luv's 75%. EmberNote also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Luv's advantage is ratings volume (80 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luv sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and EmberNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EmberNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luv has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Luv's written reviews are positive against 100% of EmberNote's.
