# Dista vs Sumika Collection

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sumika Collection at free against Dista's free with in-app purchases. Sumika Collection also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Dista's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sumika Collection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dista has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dista ships an update fortnightly, Sumika Collection every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
