# Ouff vs Wave

The clearest difference is ads: Ouff at none against Wave's shown. Ouff also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). Wave's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ouff sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wave sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ouff ships an update every 7 months, Wave daily. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
