# SafeInSight vs Booster Prep

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SafeInSight at none against Booster Prep's 11. SafeInSight also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Booster Prep's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 38 months) and ratings volume (721 vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Booster Prep sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. SafeInSight asks for nothing beyond the download.

SafeInSight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Booster Prep has 721 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SafeInSight ships an update every 38 months, Booster Prep fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
