# iboChron vs Work Counter

iboChron and Work Counter both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of iboChron's written reviews are positive against 45% of Work Counter's. iboChron also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Work Counter's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iboChron sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Work Counter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for iboChron against 4.8 for Work Counter. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 41 and 55 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of iboChron's written reviews are positive against 45% of Work Counter's.
