# Nota vs EcoJet

The clearest difference is ads: EcoJet at none against Nota's shown. EcoJet also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). Nota's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 7). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nota holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nota has 1.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Nota's written reviews are positive against 42% of EcoJet's.

Nota ships an update every 4 months, EcoJet every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
