# Ground School vs ACE AI FLIGHT TRAINING

The clearest difference is rating: Ground School at 4.9 against ACE AI FLIGHT TRAINING's 4.2. Ground School also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 5). ACE AI FLIGHT TRAINING's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ground School sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and ACE AI FLIGHT TRAINING sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ground School holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ground School has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Ground School's written reviews are positive against 100% of ACE AI FLIGHT TRAINING's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
