# CollegeData vs Internship

The clearest difference is rating: Internship at 5.0 against CollegeData's 3.3. Internship also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). CollegeData's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Internship holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CollegeData has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CollegeData ships an update every 2 months, Internship every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
