# RunAdic vs DigiMedal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RunAdic at none against DigiMedal's 2. RunAdic also leads on ratings volume (32 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). DigiMedal's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DigiMedal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. RunAdic asks for nothing beyond the download.

DigiMedal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RunAdic has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

RunAdic ships an update every 2 weeks, DigiMedal every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
