# Modern Flames vs iFlame PRO

Modern Flames and iFlame PRO both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of iFlame PRO's written reviews are positive against 20% of Modern Flames's. iFlame PRO also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 12 months). Modern Flames's advantage is ratings volume (98 vs 6) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Modern Flames holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modern Flames has 98 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Modern Flames's written reviews are positive against 75% of iFlame PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Modern Flames ships an update every 12 months, iFlame PRO every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
