# Beelly vs Tolf

The clearest difference is ads: Beelly at none against Tolf's shown. Beelly also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Tolf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beelly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tolf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beelly ships an update every 6 weeks, Tolf every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
