# Scriptigo Pro vs PlayScript

The clearest difference is price: PlayScript at Free against Scriptigo Pro's $9.99. PlayScript also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9). Scriptigo Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

PlayScript is free to download; Scriptigo Pro costs $9.99 up front. Scriptigo Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and PlayScript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayScript holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scriptigo Pro has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scriptigo Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, PlayScript every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
