# MyUT Austin vs DIS Navigate

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DIS Navigate at 100% against MyUT Austin's 35%. MyUT Austin's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (50 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyUT Austin holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyUT Austin has 50 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of MyUT Austin's written reviews are positive against 100% of DIS Navigate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyUT Austin ships an update every 3 months, DIS Navigate every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
