# iMuseum VFA vs Prep

The clearest difference is ads: iMuseum VFA at none against Prep's shown. iMuseum VFA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (121 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iMuseum VFA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Prep sells 64 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iMuseum VFA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep has 121 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iMuseum VFA ships an update every 5 weeks, Prep every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
