# Ledlenser Connect vs Garmin Dive™

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Garmin Dive™ at none against Ledlenser Connect's 2. Garmin Dive™ also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (855 vs 55). Ledlenser Connect's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ledlenser Connect sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Garmin Dive™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Garmin Dive™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Garmin Dive™ has 855 ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Ledlenser Connect's written reviews are positive against 50% of Garmin Dive™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ledlenser Connect ships an update every 4 months, Garmin Dive™ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
