# Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD vs Code Rain

The clearest difference is rating: Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD at 4.4 against Code Rain's 3.8. Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD also leads on ratings volume (7.5K vs 11) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Code Rain's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (38% vs 28%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Code Rain sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD has 7.5K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD's written reviews are positive against 38% of Code Rain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Wallpaper & Wallpapers HD ships an update monthly, Code Rain every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
