# ESIS' vs Lifetree

The clearest difference is rating: Lifetree at 5.0 against ESIS''s 3.4. ESIS''s advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lifetree holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ESIS' has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ESIS' ships an update every 2 weeks, Lifetree every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
