# Section8 vs Section 8 Search

The clearest difference is rating: Section 8 Search at 4.5 against Section8's 3.1. Section 8 Search also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 50%) and ratings volume (611 vs 36). Section8's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 18.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
