# Dream Car vs DJI Virtual Flight

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DJI Virtual Flight at 1.8K against Dream Car's 14. Dream Car's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Dream Car against 3.9 for DJI Virtual Flight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Virtual Flight has 1.8K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 34% positive.

Dream Car ships an update every 3 weeks, DJI Virtual Flight every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
