# Speedometer × vs Trip Tracker

Speedometer × and Trip Tracker both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Trip Tracker's written reviews are positive against 52% of Speedometer ×'s. Trip Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown). Speedometer ×'s advantage is ratings volume (818 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer × sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Trip Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Speedometer × against 4.5 for Trip Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer × has 818 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
