# Physics Homework vs Whiz

The clearest difference is rating: Whiz at 4.7 against Physics Homework's 3.9. Whiz also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and ratings volume (168 vs 18). Physics Homework's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Physics Homework sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Whiz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whiz holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiz has 168 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Physics Homework's written reviews are positive against 100% of Whiz's.

Physics Homework ships an update every 3 days, Whiz every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
