# WetRuler vs Fishbook Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fishbook Pro at every 12 months against WetRuler's every 43 months. Fishbook Pro also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WetRuler against 5.0 for Fishbook Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishbook Pro has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WetRuler ships an update every 43 months, Fishbook Pro every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
