# Pi Network vs PONDE

The clearest difference is rating: PONDE at 5.0 against Pi Network's 4.2. PONDE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Pi Network's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PONDE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pi Network has 13K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pi Network ships an update every 2 months, PONDE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
