# Anchor Pro vs BB Run Live

The clearest difference is monetization model: Anchor Pro at free with in-app purchases against BB Run Live's subscription. Anchor Pro also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 7). BB Run Live's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anchor Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per year and BB Run Live sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anchor Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anchor Pro has 3.6K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Anchor Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of BB Run Live's.

Anchor Pro ships an update every 2 months, BB Run Live every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
