# Age Check Certification Scheme vs Sidegig

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sidegig at 76% against Age Check Certification Scheme's 20%. Sidegig also leads on ratings volume (51 vs 1). Age Check Certification Scheme's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Age Check Certification Scheme holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sidegig has 51 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Age Check Certification Scheme's written reviews are positive against 76% of Sidegig's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Age Check Certification Scheme ships an update every 3 weeks, Sidegig fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
