# VPN Location Changer vs GhostGuard

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN Location Changer at free with in-app purchases against GhostGuard's subscription. VPN Location Changer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). GhostGuard's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and review sentiment (82% vs 55%). Both are free to download. VPN Location Changer sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and GhostGuard sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
