# VPN Location Changer vs VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy at 4.6 against VPN Location Changer's 4.1. VPN Location Changer's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 25%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Location Changer sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Location Changer has 500 ratings behind it against 78, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of VPN Location Changer's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Location Changer ships an update fortnightly, VPN Fast Smart & Secure Proxy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
