# Cloud Tunes vs Findup

The clearest difference is monetization model: Findup at free with in-app purchases against Cloud Tunes's subscription. Findup also leads on ratings volume (7.1K vs 142). Cloud Tunes's advantage is iOS requirement (9.1 vs 13.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloud Tunes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Findup sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Cloud Tunes against 4.5 for Findup. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Findup has 7.1K ratings behind it against 142, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Cloud Tunes's written reviews are positive against 82% of Findup's.

Cloud Tunes ships an update fortnightly, Findup every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
