# Cloud Tunes vs Plus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cloud Tunes at 84% against Plus's 35%. Cloud Tunes also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Plus's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloud Tunes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Plus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cloud Tunes holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plus has 4.4K ratings behind it against 142, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Cloud Tunes's written reviews are positive against 35% of Plus's.

Cloud Tunes ships an update fortnightly, Plus monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
