# AlifBee vs Arabic 101

The clearest difference is monetization model: Arabic 101 at free with in-app purchases against AlifBee's subscription. Arabic 101 also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (949 vs 186). AlifBee's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlifBee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and Arabic 101 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Arabic 101 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arabic 101 has 949 ratings behind it against 186, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of AlifBee's written reviews are positive against 67% of Arabic 101's.

AlifBee ships an update every 6 weeks, Arabic 101 every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
