# Wallas Remote vs Renogy

Wallas Remote and Renogy both sit at 3.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 55% of Wallas Remote's written reviews are positive against 11% of Renogy's. Renogy's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (828 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Renogy holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Renogy has 828 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Wallas Remote's written reviews are positive against 11% of Renogy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wallas Remote ships an update every 6 months, Renogy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
