# Pike13 vs ESPC

The clearest difference is rating: ESPC at 5.0 against Pike13's 1.5. Pike13's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ESPC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pike13 has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pike13 ships an update every 6 weeks, ESPC every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
