# MetaChurch vs Lifeway On Demand

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lifeway On Demand at every 2 weeks against MetaChurch's every 36 months. Lifeway On Demand also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 6). MetaChurch's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for MetaChurch against 4.8 for Lifeway On Demand. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeway On Demand has 1.9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
