# SnailJet vs snapmail

The clearest difference is monetization model: SnailJet at free against snapmail's free with in-app purchases. SnailJet also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SnailJet against 5.0 for snapmail. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnailJet has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
