# Upwork vs Vibeworker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Upwork at free with in-app purchases against Vibeworker's subscription. Upwork also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 2) and chart position (#116 vs unranked). Vibeworker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Upwork sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $27.00 per month and Vibeworker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vibeworker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Upwork has 72K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Upwork ships an update fortnightly, Vibeworker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
