# Multi Timer vs Elite 1099

The clearest difference is rating: Elite 1099 at 5.0 against Multi Timer's 4.1. Elite 1099 also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Multi Timer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multi Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Elite 1099 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elite 1099 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Multi Timer has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Multi Timer ships an update fortnightly, Elite 1099 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
