# Awesome Calendar 2 vs Widget Station

The clearest difference is rating: Awesome Calendar 2 at 4.6 against Widget Station's 3.3. Awesome Calendar 2 also leads on ratings volume (4.9K vs 6). Widget Station's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Awesome Calendar 2 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Widget Station asks for nothing beyond the download.

Awesome Calendar 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Awesome Calendar 2 has 4.9K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Awesome Calendar 2's written reviews are positive against 67% of Widget Station's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
