# HDlivecam vs WisdomCam

The clearest difference is rating: WisdomCam at 3.7 against HDlivecam's 1.9. HDlivecam's advantage is ratings volume (168 vs 3) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WisdomCam holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HDlivecam has 168 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of HDlivecam's written reviews are positive against 0% of WisdomCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HDlivecam ships an update every 6 weeks, WisdomCam monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
