# Eshqi vs RedGate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eshqi at none against RedGate's 2. Eshqi also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). RedGate's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RedGate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 6 months. Eshqi asks for nothing beyond the download.

RedGate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eshqi has 2.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Eshqi ships an update every 2 weeks, RedGate every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
