# EzRemote Lite vs Uni TV Remote

The clearest difference is ads: EzRemote Lite at none against Uni TV Remote's shown. EzRemote Lite also leads on review sentiment (55% vs 36%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Uni TV Remote's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Uni TV Remote holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uni TV Remote has 458 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of EzRemote Lite's written reviews are positive against 36% of Uni TV Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EzRemote Lite ships an update every 4 months, Uni TV Remote monthly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
