# Trapp vs Audio Visualize

The clearest difference is rating: Trapp at 4.3 against Audio Visualize's 3.6. Trapp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 9). Audio Visualize's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 21%) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trapp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Audio Visualize sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trapp holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trapp has 3.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Trapp's written reviews are positive against 62% of Audio Visualize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trapp ships an update every 6 months, Audio Visualize every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
