# OCS vs E

The clearest difference is update cadence: E at every 2 months against OCS's every 8 months. OCS's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OCS ships an update every 8 months, E every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
