# mySYSTOPIA vs GAIL's Bakery

The clearest difference is ads: mySYSTOPIA at none against GAIL's Bakery's shown. mySYSTOPIA also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). GAIL's Bakery's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mySYSTOPIA holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mySYSTOPIA has 433 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of mySYSTOPIA's written reviews are positive against 26% of GAIL's Bakery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mySYSTOPIA ships an update every 3 months, GAIL's Bakery monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
